Engineer

Zancott is seeking an Engineer for a highly regarded commercial construction company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various engineering aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to design and implement engineering solutions for commercial construction projects.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Perform structural analysis and ensure that materials and methods meet engineering standards.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules, monitoring progress and adjusting as necessary.
• Manage and resolve engineering issues that arise during construction, working closely with site teams to provide solutions.
• Ensure that all engineering work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices to provide innovative solutions to project challenges.
• Prepare reports and documentation for project stakeholders, including status updates and engineering assessments.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in commercial construction engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and construction practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
