Civil Labourer's

Zancott is looking for civil labourers to commence work immediately with various clients at sites across Metro and Outer North Suburbs. Work can be short term, long term and ongoing permanent opportunities are available for the right candidates with flexibility depending on what you are looking for.

If you are wanting to kick start your civil career, looking at changing career directions or just wanting to try something new these roles are a great way to get your foot in the door with an industry that is growing consistently.

You must be prepared to work hard, get your hands dirty, be willing to work in the weather, have excellent safety awareness and be a hard worker who is prepared to move sites/locations when required.

To be considered for these roles you must answer yes to the following:

• White card
• Car license and own reliable transport
• Previous labouring experience if within civil/construction this will be highly regarded
• Ability to pass a urine drug screen and alcohol breath test
• Follow Safety and take everything safety seriously
• Physically fit and healthy comfortable lifting 25kg constantly
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks
• A team player who can work in small/large groups
• Take being a reliable and punctual seriously as days off affect everyone
• High level attention to detail
• Constantly wanting to learn

Advantageous skills/tickets:

• Work Zone Traffic Management
• Pipelaying (Bed prep, placement, back fill and compaction)
• MR/HR truck Drivers (Dump Trucks, Water Carts and Tippers)
• Multi Skilled (LE, LL, LR, LS - Not essential)
• National Police Clearance
