CNC Machinst - Above Award Rates

Zancott has partnered with a client who manufacturer/assemble products that are supplied to industries including mining, public infrastructure, marine, oil and gas, general industry and the food and beverage sectors.

The facility is a market leader in fibreglass reinforcement products, and we are needing experienced CNC machinist to commence work on night shift starting at the beginning of November. The role will be going until at least Christmas but there could be opportunities to continue for the right candidate.

We have 2 positions available and are needing machinists who have sound knowledge using DXF software with competent computer skills. Any programming experience will be highly regarded but is not essential to this role. You must be comfortable working in a small team environment and be a proactive person who can work independently.

You must be able to provide or demonstrate the following:

• 2 positions available
• Extensive experience as a CNC machinist with sound DXF software knowledge
• Able to operate both a CNC and Waterjet machine
• Night shift role 10pm-6am Monday to Friday with potential overtime available
• Confident with reading and interpreting drawings
• Competent with using computers
• Se up and modifications to both machines
• 2 checkable recent work references that can be contacted
• Physically fit and healthy
• No respiratory conditions due to working with fibreglass products
• Able to pass a urine drug and alcohol screen
• Ability to attend face-to-face interview ASAP at our Stepney Head Office
• car license and own transport is essential as no public transport available
