Zancott Recruitment is excited to announce the awarding of major new contracts across Adelaide, and we are seeking experienced Leading Hands to join our every growing team in civil construction.

We are looking for those who want to grow, develop and bring their expertise within the civil construction industry to these opportunities. Your previous knowledge and management skills will be vital to the success of these roles and provide you with the potential long term career path you have been looking for.

About the Role:

As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various civil construction projects. Your leadership skills will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support construction teams on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor progress and report on project status.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance skills and performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Leading Hand in civil construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., White Card, First Aid) are preferred.
  • Able to attend a F2F interview at our Stepney location.
  • Willing to undertake a Urine Drug/Alcohol test.
  • Complete a Fit for Work assessment.
  • provide 2 recent checkable work references.
