About the Role:
This is the perfect opportunity for someone eager to launch their career in the booming civil and construction industry! You’ll start with 2 days per week—a fantastic way to get your foot in the door. For the right person, this role will quickly expand to 5 days a week (38 hours), with plenty of room for growth and advancement. It’s an exciting, fast-track opportunity to grow your skills and take on new challenges at a top-tier company!

This client is dedicated to constructing the future of our cities and communities. Working on exciting, large-scale infrastructure projects, we need a committed and hardworking site cleaner/peggy to ensure the job site is clean, safe, and ready for action every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep construction site clean and free from debris, waste, and hazardous materials.
  • Ensure proper disposal and recycling of construction waste in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Assist with organizing tools, materials, and equipment to maintain an orderly work environment.
  • Support the safety and well-being of workers by ensuring the site is free from trip hazards and other potential dangers.
  • Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas such as walkways, entry points, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, and clear construction zones before and after work shifts.
  • Assist with other general labour duties as required to keep the site running smoothly.

What You Bring:

  • A strong work ethic and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify and remove hazards.
  • Previous experience in construction site cleaning or general labour (preferred, but not required).
  • A team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a construction environment.
  • Car and license is required.
  • White card is essential.
  • Physically fit and healthy.
  • Able to undergo a urine drug/alcohol test.
  • Ability to commence immediately.
