Zancott Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated People Logistics Administrator to join a dynamic team supporting the Olympic Dam Operation.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Supervisor People Logistics, you will provide exceptional customer service and a continuous improvement mindset to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient transport, accommodation, and mobilisation services to meet the requirements of the Olympic Dam Operation. As a People Logistics Administrator, you will be part of a team that focuses on delivering safe, reliable, and inclusive services to support the Olympic Dam Operation. You will be focused on delivering excellent customer service, have strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills, initiative, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
This role will be Adelaide-based, operating on a 5:2 roster Monday to Friday with site travel once per month, and there is a view to transition to a 7:7 roster pattern in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development.
- Work closely with and provide support to the Olympic Dam Asset to provide travel, accommodation, and mobilisation services.
- Process roster and ad-hoc travel and accommodation requests.
- Process end-to-end mobilisation requirements, including site access, training, and domestic travel.
- Respond to emails and phone calls with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Receive, resolve, and respond to customer complaints and feedback, ensuring timely responses as required.
- Complete administration tasks related to the travel and accommodation system, including data maintenance activities.
- Undertake travel and accommodation optimisation activities and management.
- Contribute to BOS routines, including operational performance and improvement workshops.
- Actively identify improvement opportunities and time optimization solutions to balance capacity and demand and ensure collaboration with the team.
- Process site access requests, travel and accommodation bookings, expense management, and reconciliation.
- Prepare and interpret reports and data relating to travel and accommodation services.
- Provide system training for self-managed travel users, contract business partners, and Department Administrators.
- Lead and coach Field Leadership activities.
- Maintain strong working relationships with the villages, housing, transport, village maintenance, contracts, projects, and shutdown operations teams.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build effective working relationships within your team and with external customers.
- A high attention to detail, with the proven ability to work autonomously and proactively establish priorities.
- Knowledge and relevant experience working with travel booking systems (InFlight/SAMS), dashboards, reporting, and auditing.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work practices and procedures.
- Experience in BHP systems, including SAP, AMEX Travel, and the BHP Operating System, is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the business, from frontline employees to higher-level management.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills using the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Previous experience in complex travel management, data analytics, and/or FIFO travel operations is highly regarded.
- A demonstrated commitment to Field Leadership and Safety Leadership.
