Experienced Telehandler Operator

Zancott is looking for an experienced Telehandler operator to manage the day-to-day movement of building materials on a commercial construction site. This role requires a skilled operator who is capable of safely and efficiently manoeuvring a telehandler to transport materials, ensuring the construction site runs smoothly and on schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a proven history of telehandler operations on a construction site, be reliable, and willing to assist with general site labouring tasks such as site cleaning, organising materials, and supporting the team when needed.

To be successful for this role you need to be able to:

• Safely operate the telehandler to move, lift, and stack building materials.
• Ensure materials are transported to the correct areas of the site in a timely manner.
• Assist with general site duties, including cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Perform daily safety checks on the telehandler and report any faults.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Valid Telehandler ticket (within the last 5 years) or recent Verification of Competency (VOC).

To be eligible you must meet the following:

• White Card is essential
• Car and licence Preferred
• Complete face to face interview at Stepney Location
• Able to pass a Urine Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Successfully complete a fit for work assessment
• Provide working rights
• Two checkable work references
