Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Proven Grader Operation: Experience operating grader machinery in civil construction or mining projects.
  • GPS Experience: Proficiency in using GPS systems for accurate grading and site mapping.
  • Final Trim Expertise: Hands-on experience in final trim grading to ensure precise surface levels, slopes, and finishes.
  • Heavy Machinery Licensing: Valid and up-to-date grader tickets (preferably with relevant certifications for civil or mining environments).
  • Safety Focused: Strong commitment to safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and make quick decisions in challenging working conditions.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in grading to meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Team Player: Able to collaborate effectively with crews and supervisors while also working independently when required.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments and physically demanding roles.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to liaise with supervisors and other team members effectively.

Additional Advantages:

  • Previous FIFO experience in similar roles is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of heavy plant operation and maintenance.
