Zancott is seeking an experienced Custom Home Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and custom home building, with the ability to oversee the successful execution of high-end, bespoke projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, leading the construction of premium homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all stages of custom home construction, from pre-construction planning to project completion
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, trades, and construction crews to ensure quality standards and timelines are met
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and clients to ensure the custom home design and specifications are accurately executed
  • Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring that materials, labour, and time requirements are efficiently controlled
  • Ensure all work complies with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and resolve any on-site issues promptly
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining clear communication throughout the build process
  • Provide progress reports to clients and senior management, addressing any concerns or changes to the project scope

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in supervising custom home construction projects, with a focus on high-end residential builds
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and costs
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate multiple teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Desirable Skills:

  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with luxury or bespoke residential projects
  • Familiarity with local building codes, zoning laws, and regulations
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling and contract management
