Project Engineer

Zancott Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in roads construction for an exciting 40-week contract opportunity based in Port Augusta. This role offers the chance to work on significant infrastructure projects and contribute to the development of local road networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of road construction projects
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget
• Collaborate with contractors, stakeholders, and other project teams
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting expertise
• Monitor and report on project progress, including quality control, safety, and compliance with specifications

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer, with a focus on road construction projects
• Strong understanding of project management principles, safety protocols, and contract management
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Local candidates from Port Augusta or surrounding areas are highly encouraged to apply
