Safety Advisor

Zancott Recruitment are seeking a HSE Advisor, you’ll be instrumental in creating a safe work environment where risks are managed, and everyone returns home unharmed. Working alongside project teams to support safe work practices, follow compliance requirements, and lead safety conversations. You’ll also help identify risks, conduct inspections, and assist in reporting and investigations where needed.

• Promoting a strong safety-first culture across the team
• Supporting WHS policies and procedures on-site
• Assisting in site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
• Working with teams, contractors, and clients to maintain safe work environments
• Reporting and assisting with incident investigations
• Helping ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Skills and Experience

• A qualification in WHS, OHS, or similar
• Experience working in a civil construction environment
• A good understanding of health and safety legislation
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Confidence working with a range of stakeholders on-site
• Clearance or ability to work on regulated road projects (e.g. DIT)
