Multi-Skilled Plant Operators – FIFO / DIDO Opportunities (SA & WA)

Zancott Recruitment is seeking experienced, multi-skilled Plant Operators for a range of FIFO and DIDO civil projects across South Australia and Western Australia.

These opportunities suit operators who are adaptable, hands-on, and comfortable working in remote and regional environments, including off-grid locations.

About the Role

You’ll be working across various large-scale civil and infrastructure projects, supporting construction activities with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and productivity.

This role is ideal for operators who:

• Enjoy variety across projects
• Are comfortable assisting outside the machine when required
• Can adapt to changing work fronts and conditions

Plant & Skill Requirements

We are seeking all-rounder Plant Operators with experience in at least two (2) of the following:

• Dozer
• Grader
• Loader
• Skid Steer
• Excavator

Highly regarded:

• Backhoe, Excavator & IT Loader experience
• HR Licence
• Willingness to labour and assist as required
• Physically fit – significant walking involved on some projects

Essential Requirements

• Must reside in South Australia or Western Australia
• Construction Industry White Card
• Current Driver’s Licence (minimum C class, HR preferred)
• Relevant plant tickets and demonstrated experience
• Ability to pass site medicals, including drug & alcohol testing (rail medicals may apply depending on project)

Accommodation & Living

• FIFO / DIDO and remote-based roles
• Accommodation provided (may include off-grid camps or caravans depending on project)
• Operators are responsible for maintaining provided accommodation to a clean standard

Meals & Allowances

• Self-catered roles
• Meal allowances and applicable project allowances provided

Travel

Travel requirements will vary by project and may include air and road travel.
