We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Support Officer to provide essential administrative and coordination support within a key transformation-focused team in a South Australian government agency.
This temporary opportunity will see you supporting senior leaders and contributing to the smooth operation of a function delivering high-impact infrastructure and community outcomes.
Provide day-to-day administrative support
Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and track action items
Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and spreadsheets
Support onboarding and induction activities
Organise meetings, events, travel, and training
Monitor shared Outlook mailboxes and maintain internal systems
Identify and implement improvements to administrative processes
Perform data entry and general administrative tasks
Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration (essential)
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Demonstrated ability to use initiative, exercise sound judgement, and solve problems independently
Collaborative mindset with a focus on achieving strong team and customer outcomes
