We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Support Officer to provide essential administrative and coordination support within a key transformation-focused team in a South Australian government agency.

This temporary opportunity will see you supporting senior leaders and contributing to the smooth operation of a function delivering high-impact infrastructure and community outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support

  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and track action items

  • Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and spreadsheets

  • Support onboarding and induction activities

  • Organise meetings, events, travel, and training

  • Monitor shared Outlook mailboxes and maintain internal systems

  • Identify and implement improvements to administrative processes

  • Perform data entry and general administrative tasks

About You

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration (essential)

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, exercise sound judgement, and solve problems independently

  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on achieving strong team and customer outcomes
