Vac Truck Operator

Zancott are currently seeking experienced and reliable Vac Truck Operators to work across water and civil projects throughout metro Adelaide.

This role involves operating vacuum loading equipment for the safe removal and transport of liquid and solid waste, sludge and other materials from various project sites.

This is a great opportunity for someone with vacuum truck experience who enjoys working in a hands on environment and wants to further develop their skills within the civil infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate vacuum trucks (HR or HC class) across civil and infrastructure sites
• Perform vacuum excavation, non-destructive digging and hydro excavation works
• Operate high-pressure water jetting and vacuum loading equipment
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine checks on vehicles and equipment
• Complete job documentation and daily paperwork accurately
• Assist with general labouring duties on civil projects as required

About You

• Valid HR or HC Truck Licence
• Construction White Card / (essential)
• Previous Vac Truck operating experience
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• The ability to pass pre-employment checks, including Drug & Alcohol screening
