We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Trainer and Assessor to deliver hands-on training programs across regional Western Australia, including the Pilbara and Kimberley regions.
This role involves working closely with participants in community settings, delivering practical training through small-scale, live works projects such as paving and concreting. You will play a key role in developing real, job-ready skills in meaningful environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver civil construction training and assessment in line with national standards
- Facilitate practical, hands-on projects (paving and concreting)
- Assess competency and support participants through their learning journey
- Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation
- Adapt delivery to suit diverse participants and community environments
About You
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122)
- Background in civil construction with minimum 5 years current industry experience
- Ability to run small-scale, live works projects
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse communities
- Willingness to travel and work in regional and remote locations
Travel & Lifestyle
- Delivery across regional WA, including Pilbara and Kimberley regions
- Training blocks may require being away from home for 8–14 weeks at a time
