Vac Truck Operator

Zancott Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Vac Truck Operators to join a major utilities and infrastructure project delivering a recycled water pipeline scheme in Pakenham South. This role is Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm, with potential Saturday work available.

You will be working on a large-scale civil project supporting excavation crews through non-destructive digging (NDD) and working safely around live underground services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating vacuum trucks for non-destructive digging (NDD)
• Working around underground services and live assets
• Assisting excavation crews with safe service exposure
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine checks on vehicles and equipment
• Complete job documentation and daily paperwork accurately
• Maintaining plant and adhering to site safety procedures

Requirements:

• HR or HC licence (essential)
• Previous Vac Truck / NDD experience
• White card
• Strong safety focus and site awareness
• Ability to pass fit for work and drug & alcohol testing
