Project Engineer - Civil

Zancott Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Engineer or Project Engineer to support delivery of a key civil infrastructure project in Delamere, South Australia.

This role will suit an engineer with strong road construction experience who is confident coordinating civil work packages across a live infrastructure upgrade.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and delivery of civil construction activities including road widening and overtaking lane construction, pavement works, drainage and associated road infrastructure
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with specifications, legislation and project approvals
• Assist with planning, programming and coordination of site activities
• Monitor budgets, assess subcontractor claims and variations, and support cost control
• Maintain accurate project documentation including QA records, drawing registers and compliance reporting
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure safety, environmental and quality standards are met

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer on road or transport infrastructure projects
• Experience working to DIT or similar road authority specifications highly regarded
• Strong understanding of construction staging and working within live traffic environments
• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple work fronts
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach
