Supporting the expansion of our client - a respected industry leader in industrial service solutions, we are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Outgoing Goods Advice Specialist to join our team in Olympic Dam.

Working a 5/2 roster, 8 – 10 hour days, the successful candidate will enjoy competitive remuneration starting at $42 per hour.
Candidate local to Roxby down is preferred.

Qualifications / Experience / Licences:

  • Drivers License
  • Forklift License
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft/Google Suite programs (e.g. Word, Excel)
  • Experience dealing with dangerous goods and EPA transport requirements

Desired Skills/Licenses:

  • Experience working at client site
  • 2 years’ experience in the waste industry
  • Dangerous Goods Handling Training

Operations

  • Following client safe procedures, test all material for radiation to ensure it is below the limit for transport offsite
  • Analyse the data to provide advice on the disposal options for the waste: landfill, offsite recycling or contaminated waste disposal facility (CWDF)
  • Work with the operations manager to analyse all OGA data to determine where process improvements are possible
  • Record data for incoming waste into the Company’s contaminated waste database by the Contractor.
  • Liaise with the Veolia commodities team to determine the best price for recyclables
  • Ensure timely and accurate business KPI reporting

Administration

  • Complete all outgoing goods advice (OGA) paperwork for goods leaving the site
  • Ensure the appropriate procedures are followed to keep records of all OGA data
  • Complete reports as required in conjunction with the operations team
  • Ensure all transport offsite complies with Veolia, BHP and EPA requirements.
  • Complete waste tracking documentation for EPA
  • Complete OGA dockets and ensure they reconcile with transport documentation
  • Ensure all costs are tracked and invoicing is completed in a timely manner
  • Participate in and oversee purchasing request processes within the business


Drug and alcohol screening and a full PEM 2 medical are required prior to commencement, and you may be subject to random testing throughout assignment.
