Zancott Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Site Engineer with strong stormwater, pavement and road construction experience to support delivery of major civil infrastructure works within metropolitan Adelaide.
This opportunity will suit an engineer with a hands-on approach who is confident coordinating subcontractors, plant, labour and site activities across active infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery of stormwater, drainage, pavement, roadworks and associated civil infrastructure works
- Supervise subcontractors, site crews and plant operations to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently
- Assist with planning, staging and programming of construction activities
- Monitor progress, quantities, subcontractor claims and variations
- Maintain QA documentation including ITPs, lot records, drawing registers and compliance reporting
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications, DIT requirements and project approvals
- Support construction delivery within live traffic and staged work environments
- Liaise with project managers, supervisors and subcontractors to maintain programme and delivery targets
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience delivering stormwater, drainage and pavement packages
- Strong understanding of road construction and civil works
- Experience working under DIT or similar road authority specifications highly regarded
- Proven ability coordinating subcontractors, labour and plant on active construction sites
- Strong understanding of QA processes, site compliance and safety requirements
- Effective communication skills with a proactive and hands-on approach
