Zancott Recruitment is seeking a Change Director for a 6 month contract. You will drive adoption across one of South Australia's most significant utility transformations.
A leading South Australian utility is embarking on a major enterprise-wide transformation, and is seeking an experienced Transformation Change Director to design and lead the change strategy that will see new digital capabilities, redesigned processes and new ways of working successfully adopted and embedded across the organisation.
This is a rare opportunity to own the change agenda end to end. You will build the strategy, shape how it is delivered, and lead a team of change professionals to bring it to life.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will develop the integrated change strategy from the ground up and define how change is delivered across the program.
- You will draw on a range of delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall and hybrid) and apply innovative thinking to design fit-for-purpose change solutions, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
- You will directly lead Transformation Readiness and Communications professionals, coaching and developing them into a high-performing change function.
- Your success will be measured by genuine, sustained change, not just plans on paper. You will own adoption across digital tools, processes and new ways of working.
- You will be the primary change leadership voice in the program, building sponsorship and alignment at the most senior levels.
About you
You are a seasoned, creative change leader who thrives on complexity. You bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Change, Business, HR, Communications or a related discipline
- Extensive experience leading enterprise-scale, technology-enabled transformation programs
- A proven track record building and executing integrated change strategies in complex, multi-workstream environments
- The ability to think creatively and work across multiple delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall and hybrid), applying the right approach to the right context
- Expertise in digital adoption, operating model change and process redesign
- Strong senior stakeholder influence and executive communication skills
- Experience leading, coaching and developing change teams
Experience within regulated, asset-intensive, public sector or utilities environments, along with formal change management accreditation, will be highly regarded.
