Zancott Recruitment is partnering with a leading construction and remediation company to find an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join their growing Adelaide team.
This is a permanent opportunity working across a range of Defence and Construction remediation projects. The role is based out of our client's Adelaide Airport office, with the majority of project work delivered across Adelaide CBD.
About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting HSEQ compliance, management plans and procedures across multiple projects. Working closely with site teams, you will:
- Assist project teams in the preparation and implementation of HSEQ documentation, including Management Plans and Risk Assessments
- Manage incidents and prepare investigation reports using ICAM methodology
- Administer incident and hazard reporting processes
- Conduct regular HSEQ site inspections and audits
- Coach site teams on the delivery of pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
- Coordinate HSEQ training programs and maintain competency records
- Analyse HSEQ performance data and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement
- Maintain the company's Integrated Management System (IMS) to accredited standards
- Compile project-specific HSEQ documentation to support tender submissions when required
About You
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a dedicated HSE Advisor role
- Australian citizenship (required for access to Defence project sites)
- Experience using HammerTech
- Exposure to Facade and fit-out works highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience developing and reviewing HSE Management Plans, SWMS, JHAs and audit documentation
- A solid understanding of Quality Management processes
- Strong ability to work autonomously across multiple project teams
- Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a related discipline
- Excellent attention to detail with strong stakeholder engagement skills
