GPS Excavator Operator

Zancott Recruitment has an immediate opportunity for a Final Trim GPS Excavator Operator project in Flagstone, QLD, for 10 months worth of work and potentially ongoing opportunities.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 6:30am – 5:30pm, with half day Saturdays.

What you'll be doing:

• Final trim excavation to design specification
• Cut to grade using Topcon GPS machine control
• Trenching and detailed earthworks
• Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on machinery
• Bulk and detailed excavation across residential subdivision sites

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience operating excavators for final trim work
• Confident use of GPS machine control, ideally Topcon
• Experience on 35-tonne excavators
• White Card, relevant RII tickets or licences (e.g. RIIMPO321F or equivalent)
• Ability to read and work from plans
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work well within site teams
