Excavator Operators - Sign on Bonus Available

Zancott Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Final Trim and GPS Excavator Operators to join our team for upcoming civil construction projects across Adelaide.

We are looking for skilled operators with experience across subdivisions, bulk earthworks, trenching, drainage, and detailed excavation. This is a great opportunity for operators who take pride in precision work and are looking for ongoing project-based employment with reputable civil contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Final trim excavation to design specifications
• Operating GPS-equipped excavators (Topcon, Trimble or similar)
• Bulk and detailed earthworks across subdivision sites
• Trenching for services and drainage
• Reading plans and working to levels
• Working around live services
• Conducting daily pre-starts and routine machine maintenance checks
• Working alongside supervisors and ground crews to maintain a safe and efficient site

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience operating excavators within civil construction
• Final Trim experience highly regarded
• Experience operating GPS equipped machinery (Trimble, Topcon or similar)
• Experience operating excavators from 5T to 50T+
• Experience operating wheeled excavators / rubber ducky highly regarded
• Experience with subdivisions, trenching, drainage and bulk earthworks
• Ability to read plans and work to levels
• Current White Card
• Relevant RII tickets/licences
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork

Sign-On Bonus Available!

Successful candidates may be eligible for our Sign-On Bonus program:

• $250 after successfully completing Week 1
• $500 after successfully completing Week 6
• $750 after successfully completing Week 12

That’s up to $1,500 in bonus payments on top of your regular wages.

Bonus available for a limited number of successful candidates and subject to satisfactory attendance, performance and ongoing employment.
