Civil Labourer - Defence Project

Zancott Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Civil Labourers / Yard Hands to join major Defence and infrastructure projects across Adelaide. These opportunities offer ongoing work with reputable contractors delivering large-scale projects across South Australia.

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

• Australian Citizenship (required for Defence projects)
• Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• White Card
• Relevant licences, tickets and VOCs
• Previous civil construction, labouring or yard experience
• Good understanding of workplace safety
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
• Basic computer skills for online inductions

Duties may include:

• General civil labouring and yard duties
• Assisting with pipe laying and civil works
• Trenching, backfilling and spotting
• Working around services
• Use of hand and power tools
• Loading and unloading equipment
• General heavy lifting
• Yard hand and storeman duties
• Keeping the worksite and yard clean and tidy
