Zancott are currently seeking experienced Intermediate Riggers to join a major water infrastructure project based in Merredin, WA.
This is a great opportunity for experienced Riggers with a civil or infrastructure background looking for work on a large-scale project. You will be working as part of a civil construction crew, assisting with the installation and movement of large water infrastructure, including water mains, pipework, valves and associated fittings.
About the Role:
- Rigging and lifting large water main and pipe sections
- Slinging and directing loads safely
- Assisting with the positioning and installation of pipework
- Rigging valves, fittings and associated infrastructure
- Working alongside crane and excavator operators
- Working around excavations and active civil construction sites
- Following lift plans, SWMS and site safety procedures
- General rigging duties as required
To be successful, you will have:
- High Risk RI Intermediate or RA Advanced Rigging ticket
- Previous experience in civil construction, utilities or infrastructure
- Experience rigging and lifting large pipework or similar heavy materials
- Strong understanding of safe lifting practices
- Current White Card
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Strong commitment to safety
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and urine Drug & Alcohol screening
