Roller Operator

Zancott Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Roller Operators for ongoing civil and construction opportunities across Adelaide metro and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating roller machinery on civil construction sites
• Compacting soil, gravel and other materials
• Assisting with roadworks, subdivisions, trenches and other civil works
• Completing daily pre-start checks on machinery
• Working safely around mobile plant, machinery and labourers on site
• Assisting with general civil labouring duties when required
• Opportunity to operate other machinery where you hold the relevant tickets and experience
• Following directions from supervisors and site plans
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Following all site safety procedures

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

• Previous experience operating rollers in a civil construction environment
• Valid Roller Operator ticket/licence (RII or equivalent)
• White Card
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Strong understanding of site safety
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
