Senior HR Consultant – Organisational Change

Zancott Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior HR Consultant to support the implementation of an organisational restructure within a South Australian public sector environment.

This is a hands-on project role suited to an experienced HR professional who can take ownership of the restructure process, work closely with senior management and internal HR, and manage the project through consultation and implementation.

The role

You will be responsible for:

• Developing and reviewing job and person specifications
• Coordinating classification assessments through internal HR or external providers
• Managing consultation with employees and unions
• Collating feedback and preparing options for management consideration
• Preparing costings for proposed structures and changes
• Coordinating advertising and recruitment for approved positions
• Managing project timelines, documentation and key milestones
• Providing regular progress updates to relevant stakeholder

About you

You will ideally have:

• Senior-level HR experience within government, public sector or a similar complex environment
• Previous experience supporting or leading organisational restructures
• Experience with classification processes and job and person specifications
• Experience managing employee and union consultation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience preparing workforce costings, reports and recommendations
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• The ability to work with minimal supervision and manage tight timeframes

Previous South Australian public sector experience will be highly regarded.

This is an immediate requirement and would suit someone operating at approximately ASO7 or ASO8 equivalent level.
